I can't say enough good things about this car.
First off, the C5 took everything that was good about the C4 and expanded on it...the technology that made the C4 such a departure from the earlier 'Vettes got even cooler in the C5. With more functional control over suspension, a Heads Up Display, and more computerized "goodies" giving you all sorts of data about your 'Vette, the techie part of the car was the best ever.
In addition to the technology, the body lines were more refined, and definitely more sporty, giving the Corvette an almost Ferrari or even Batmobile appearance....you can't help but turn your head whenever you see one driving in the opposite direction.
Perhaps most impressive are the many upgrades that GM made to the Corvette's powerplant....with more horsepower and torque than ever before, the C5 is a true racecar - offering drivers more performance than most will ever need...and it just got better and better with each passing year.
I have driven many of these cars and, while I haven't had the chance to own one yet, I hope to buy one next year...for those of you who do own one - tell me what you think about it - good or bad. I would be interested in knowing more about the car itself and what to look for when buying one.
