only 1991 Z07 car made with automatic transmission

hi im new to this board and have joined to post a question .....In 1991 in order to get the Z07 package on a corvette you could only get it with the manual trans. the Automatic wasn't available on Z07s until 1992. well in 91 there was 1 Z07 car made with a automatic copoed by the Executive/Engineers for special event use and whatever ,it was sold at auction in 92 with 2300 miles.......I have that bright yellow 91 Z07 car with a Automatic ...the only one made in 91 so its 1of 1 and has 81000 on it now and I have documents and proof of its existence and creation ... my question is what do you think its worth if I sold it now....I mean it is the only one so im thinking its gotta be a big dollar car maybe not like a 440 sixpack 70 cuda I have worth $100,000 but is say 40 or $50,000 outta line or arnt they worth that much ......im a mopar collector and I stumbled into a multicar deal and got this vette that's why im looking for a little advice from many sources about this car Thank you for your time

With regards to your car, it is true that having a 1991 Corvette with both the Z07 option and an automatic transmission is rare, it is not quite as rare as you suggest. In fact, there were a total of 169 Corvettes built that year with both the Z07 option and an automatic transmission. This information is documented and has been confirmed.

Manual transmissions were specified, but build records report that 169 Corvettes that were equipped with the Z07 option were automatics. I have seen other reports (not confirmed, but on a variety of well-informed Corvette message boards/forums) that indicate the number is much higher even that the 169 I mentioned above.

With regards to value? Hmm...that's a subjective thing, as it depends on a number of other items like overall condition of the car, uniqueness of other options included in the build, whether or not it has been modified, etc. Based on some preliminary searching (Ebay amongst other sites), I have found a few 1991 Corvettes with the Z07 option and an automatic transmission selling for between ten-to-fifteen thousand dollars.

That's not to say your car isn't worth more, but I don't think you'll find its worth the kind of money your 70 'Cuda is worth.
