Just curious if there is any difference in a Vette sold in the US and one sold In Germany. Mine was sold new in '92, in Germany and brought back to US in '97.

Yes, there are a few key differences that can be use to identify a Corvette that was specifically built to be imported to Europe versus a domestic model. If the car was built for export, it should include special side marker lights on the front fenders. Additionally, the taillghts may include a lens that is amber (at least in part) in color.
Because of European laws, the Corvette (like all other exports) had to feature these special lamps to be compliant with international safety and operating standards. General Motors prepped their vehicles for export by factory installing the special lights during the build of each car.
Other differences that may be worth checking would include the type of seats installed in your car (a European seat option was offered), the type of emissions system included with your car (this will require some research into your VIN/options), and a general review of the other regular production options that were included at the time your car was built. Understanding this last item can be accomplished by reviewing the RPO/VIN tag on the underside of the center console lid.

I have a uk C4 1990 model built in Dec 89 and shipped the dealer in Manchester the door mirrors on the uk cars a diffident she has sidelight in the h/lights from all i have managed to find out is there were only 452 1990 models made for export
