BOWMANVILLE, ONTARIO, July 23, 2011 - After qualifying 6th in the GT class for the 2011 running of the ALMS "Mobil 1 Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport" at Mosport International Raceway, Team Corvette Racing No. 4 took the checkered flag in the GT class and finished 8th overall. Additionally, Team Corvette Racing No. 3 qualified 8th position and finished 6th in GT Class (and 14th position overall).
Piloting the No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R to victory were drivers Oliver Gavin and Jan Magnussen. This win marks the teams first victory for the 2011 American LeMans Series season. Their victory at Mosport marked the end of a three race winning streak for BMW.
Tommy Milner and Olivier Beretta piloted the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R to a sixth place finish after contact with the No. 11 Porsche GTC cost them valuable time on the high-speed Canadian circuit.
